AS5040 is a contact less magnetic rotary encoder for accurately measuring the angle of 360° in the whole amount. When measuring the angle, simply equip a bipolar magnet that rotates above the center of the chip. The magnet can be installed above or below the IC. The digitized data can be given in the form of a serial bit stream or PWM signal.
