This N20 6v 90 RPM Metal Gear Micro DC Motor with Precious Metal Brush is a light weight high torque motor suitable for a variety of industrial, home applicances and hobby applications as well. This motor is equipped with an all metal gearbox assembly which provides an amazing troque for this size of the motor. Also the brushes used in the motor provided by Robokits are precious metal brushes and not carbon brushes. This ensures a higher working life of the motor compared with the motor with carbon brushes. 

 

As compared to other motors in this size either with metal or plastic gears, the N20 all metal geared motor has a much higher torque to size ratio. The BO motor series1 and series 2 and the centre shaft 12 V motors available in the market are widely used for small industrial applications or robotic projects. However when comparing the torque, sturdiness, reliability and working life, the N20 motor beats all the other motors by a huge margin. The specifications mentioned below are a testament to the same.

 

The N20 motor is ideal for small IIOT ( Industrial IOT) products like electric lock, webcam pan tilt and other similar actuator products which need good torque in limited space and in less weight.
