It is a 2 channel PWM/Pulse generator with variable Frequency: 1hz to 150Khz and Duty cycle 1% to 100% alterations. The frequency and duty cycle can be controlled using switches provided on board. It can also be controlled using serial communication protocol. This module provides an easy solution for driving stepper motors using variable frequency pulse input and DC motor with variable PWM duty cycle.

 

It is compatible with RMCS-1110, RMCS-1101, RMCS-1102, RMCS-1106 and RMCS-2301 motor drivers requiring pulse input. Also compatible with RMCS-2302, RKI-1341, RKI-1340 and all the motor drivers requiring PWM input with variable duty cycle for speed control.

Setup parameters:

 

Frequency Range:

It is divided into three frequency ranges :

  1. XXX ( no decimal point ) : the smallest unit is 1Hz , the value range of 1Hz ~ 999Hz. Frequency display: 100  represents a PWM output 100Hz pulse.

  2. XX.X ( decimal point in tenth ) : the smallest unit is 0.1Khz ; value range 0.1K H z ~ 99.9KHz. Frequency display: 54.1 represents a PWM output 54.1KHz pulse.

  3. X.X.X ( three decimal points ) : the smallest unit is 1Khz ; value range 1K H z ~ 150KHz. Frequency display: 1.2.4 represents a PWM output 124KHz pulse.

Duty Cycle Range:

  1. Duty: 0% ~ 100% 

Button parameters:

Module has three buttons: Set , Up , Down.

  1. By short pressing SET button, one can switch between all four parameters (FR1: PWM1 frequency, DU1: PWM1 Duty cycle, FR2: PWM2 frequency, DU2: PWM2 Duty cycle)

  2. Press UP and DOWN key to modify the current parameter (Long press for fast alteration)

  3. Long press Set for altering the Frequency range.

  1. Set the PWM frequency

  • " S1FXXXT" : Set the frequency of PWM1 to XXX HZ (001Hz to 999Hz)

  • " S1FXX.XT ": Set the frequency of PWM1 to XX.X Khz ( 00.1Khz ~ 99.9Khz) 

  • " S1F: X.X.XT ": Set the frequency of PWM1 to X.X.X Khz (0.0.1Khz ~. 1.5.0Khz)

  2. Set the PWM duty cycle

  • "S1DXXXT ": Set the duty cycle of PWM1 to XXX (001~100)

  • "S2DXXXT ": Set the duty cycle of PWM2 to XXX (001~100)
